OCT 12 - I FOUND LIFE IN OTHER PEOPLE :)

Hello everyone within this address,

It has been a very interesting week for me and my companion. We held a lot of mini companionship inventory to sort things out between ourselves. The Atonement really is the center of our relationship by far. We have a decent week compared to the previous. We've been struggling with finding new because we didn't talk to everyone as much as we should and that numb things a little bit with the work. Went back to what Elder Ballard's said in his past remark, in order to teach more, you need to talk more. Then, you'll see the blessing of baptism. I'm totally agreed with his counsel. My past companion, the Idaho MasterTouch, Elder Saunders, we did not let anyone past us by. We talk and teach and seen a significant success in our effort in so doing.Kingston is filled with the youth who attend university here and there over the area. We encountered with a lot of those generations every now and then when we're outside. If there be a place in Kingston for a YSA work, I would say this would be the place for it due to that fact.

Beverly, one of our investigator who had pass her interview not too long ago still struggled with her phobia with water. We have come up with every possible way that man can come up with to help her with it, such as have her to put on a shower cap and to the point where we suggest her to use the straw to grasp for air when she's getting under the water. But to no avail regardless. We came to a point where we have no idea how to dealt with it. Its a dead end. Our last chance will be our beloved Mission President, President Shields who will be coming down this week and talk with her about the whole things. We have prayed daily for the divine intervention to assist us with Beverly.

Having invited for the Thanksgiving with some of the members in the Kingston has really made me felt home again, not because of the celebration because it wasn't really meant that much for us from where we came from but because of the family unity between one and another. It is one of those feeling that hard to describe with words, you know. I had truly come to realized about why FAMILY is very important to me. I wouldn't never know of this profound knowledge if I have stay home. That sacrifice that I have made really help me to see and learn that there is best yet to be in life, in future. As Jesus said: "  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 16:25).  I found life in other people as I served and know them.

Have a  great week, families and friends :)

With love from Kingston,

OCT 4 - NEW BEGINNING IN KINGSTON:)

Hello everyone,

My first week in Kingston was fabulous! Baptism on the next day. What more can you ask for a great start to the new area. It was a pretty packed weekend as Elder Cattelain and I travel back and forth to Oshawa and Brampton for our leadership meeting this week and then for the General Conference. My first day in the area was pretty interesting. Witness for my first time, a man roll a joint of marijuana in front of me. He's got high with it later afterward. A member who nick name is "Jedi" feed us a bunny meat. Elder Cattelain to scare to ate it, so I got it all for myself. First time eating the bunny meat. Not too bad of a taste. Still have few more in the fridge, looking forward to finish it up later. We try to help our investigator overcome her phobia of water who pass her baptismal interviews already. It was pretty nut!

General Conference was awesome!! They talk a lot about hastening the work this time. Our Mission President loved it very much!! My two favourite talk in that conference would be the one by Elder Yamashita of the Seventy: Be ambitious for Christ and Elder Oaks: Sharing the gospel is not a program. It an attitude of love.

I wish everyone a good health and sounded mind. Remember to choose the right and all will be well for those who loved God and keep His commandment.

With regards,

SEPT 27 - LESS SAY, MORE DO, GET IT DONE!!!!!!!

How's everyone doing this week?? This transfer has been a blast for me here in Sudbury! Sadly, the time has come to an end. It was a short term, but nonetheless it was a memorable one and I will cherish it for the rest of my life. I learn so much from my experience with the leaders and members here. I'm very happy to be back in the north. Elder Saunders and I witness a tones and tones of miracles in the work. We pound the pavement, get it done and even sacrifice our dinner and lunch time for the sake of the work. I truly come to realized the importance of staying on course in the path as sometime we can get pretty carried away by the motion. We must fervently do our best to improve in our spiritual strength, fortifiy ourselves in the journey and never stay for the less as we are the son and daughter of the King!!
I will be transferring to Kingston for this upcoming 6-weeks with my new companion, Elder Cattelain who I will follow-up training as the zone leaders. I'm so excited for the new adventure! Kingston is not a stake unlike any other area here in Ontario, its the district. Also, it is the smallest zone in the mission consist of 6 area only. So, that's going to be interesting:)
How's everyone doing? How's the family??

Have a great week! Until next week!!

SEP 13 - SUDBURY this week!:)

SEP 7 - FAMILY IS EVERYTHING:)

I'm apologize for the brief letter, time is something that I've been trying to working on. Nonetheless, I would to let everyone know that I have a great week here in Sudbury! We witnessing many miracles this week, especially with our investigator who working toward their baptismal dates! Aleisha and Derek has come a long way in their realtionship and the gospel will be a wonderful addition in their young family life.

To close thing of, I'm just like to share my solemn testimony of how extremely grateful I am for the experience and moments that I have forged with each and everyone of you. Sault, Hamilton and London is a great place to be in!! Some among of you has been a real blessing to me. And for that, I'm eternally grateful for it.

If there one thing that I want to leave off with you this week, that would be the importance of family. To not let the busyness of life overtake those that important around you. Always, those that important around you is your FAMILY. Remember, they are the true happiness in this short sojourn journey we are in. Nothing compare to it!! Learn to make time with them eventhough it short. Family Home Evening is always a good way for gathering and learning from one another, plus it taught us about the gospel too. Cherish your family like there is no tomorrow. Love them with all that you got. Husband, bought a flower for your wife and then write loving note for her. She need to know how much you love her. Wife, your faithfulness and sense of understand always a been a blessing to your family.

Until next time. Have a good week, everyone!:)

AUG 30 - LISTEN, DO, KEEP PRACTICING AND NEVER GIVE UP! :)

Hello everyone!!

What a fabulous week we have so far here in Sudbury!! 7 of our progressing investigator were at church yesterday!! The month of August goes by really fast and the September is on the horizon already. Where time fly?? In relation to that, I learn that it's not about just putting in the hour that count, but what you put in on that hour, that's what matter!! It was a very spiritual month for me as I got the chance to meet with many inspiring leaders and wonderful members that has taught me a lot about the meaning of life. If there is one thing that I hope to share with all of you this week is that I hope we can all understand our duty and be steadfast and firm in mind that the Lord will console us in our affliction. Family is very important. There's none that can replaced this true treasure of life. Marriage is ordained of God. It is a very beautiful and very sacred. Taking and making time is very important. Let not busyness of life overtake and rob over the happiness of our loves one. My heart were open up so many time eversince I step foot and shared the gospel of life with the people of this wonderful country that I felt like the Savior is trying to reaching out upon His children and me. It is a very incredible experience that couldn't be explained with word!

May the grace of our Lord be with all of you, of whom I love dearly. Have a great weekend! :)
