JULY 12 - PURE LOVE OF CHRIST

It was another great week!! Weather is nice, can't complaint. The fun things that we do this week were helping the McCreary's with moving. There's a lot people helping out with it, so that's great. The biggest challenges that I face this week was yesterday when we were invited for a dinner from a long time church member. During the conversation that we have with the husband, I sense something is not right. I decided to ask him and I glad I did because by the end of it, we found out that he's in the verge of becoming anti. Not good.

I never fully understanding the meaning of chunky until today and I don't like it, not at all. I want to do this(missionary work)for all my entire life. But that's not my decision to call. I will continually to embrace these last few months that I got to the fullest.
MONDAY - Celebrated the July 4th with the Dixon's who is from the States. They originally from Utah. They moved to London a year ago due to his work. We sang a lot of American's song, including the national anthem itself. Feel like American and freedom.
TUESDAY - Meet with our recent converts, Beverley who is super awesome!! We planning to help her going to the temple to do the proxy baptism. She's looking solid for it too :)
WEDNESDAY - Member work is awesome!! As a result, we were lead to a less-active, Rachelle who her parents referred her to us to reach out. She's wanting to come back and embrace the gospel one more time. We will start working on her.
THURSDAY - A long day....Have a MLC's meeting with our new mission president, President Shields. Super awesome and funny man. I loved him already.
FRIDAY - Skills and Interview!! Fun time. Though I been doing it for so many times, I still learning and sometime a bit nervous. It's a normal thing I guess.
SATURDAY - This is the day we went to Strathroy. Finally, after been trying for so many time, we were able to get in contact with our investigator, Patrick. Such a sweet guy!!
SUNDAY - My favourite day of the week!! I learn so many things today. One of them were a tolerance with each other especially for husband and wife. Tolerance requires a non-contentious attitude. I learn that working to solve the problem out is a better way rather than yelling, shouting and even crying sometime.

To close thing off, I just want to share about the pure love of Christ. Love is one of our most basic needs. Without it one cannot develop normally. A person who does not feel loved usually reacts in unacceptable ways. Always seeking attention, or becoming hostile, aggressive, or even shy. No matter how he or she says it, that person is asking you to recognize him and to accept him. In effect, he is asking you to love him. I'm grateful for the Savior atoning sacrifice. He taught me a tones of things regarding love. Until next time :)

JULY 5 - LIVED YOUR LIFE, DON'T LET THE LIFE LIVED YOU

Where should I start from here. There's a too many things going on this past 48-hours period as many of my comrades received their call for the transfer and some of them finish their mission. Much of those were my close friend in the mission and to learn from their example by far has been a privileged. It has been a wonderful transfer for me this past 6 weeks here in London and I look forward for further excitement on what the Lord has in store for me and my great companion, Elder Erickson. And yes, we dodge the bullet!! Elder Erickson and I are staying for one more round and surely he will finish his mission here in London zone as this will be his last. I'm approaching my 4th transfer here and its seem like the Lord is keen on putting me in one place for a long period of time. That's good because it gives me opportunity to get to know the members and the area pretty well. Hosanna to the highest!!

I'm extremely stoked for the opportunity to see our new Mission President, President Shields this upcoming Thursday at MLC. We heard his voice for the first time yesterday when he gives the London 2nd Elders a call for their transfer new. He's sound legit!! Can't wait to meet him face to face and feel his spirit.

Last Saturday, on our way down from Strathroy, we decided to stop by one of the member at Mount Brygdes. He has a wild animal and rehabilitation center called Salthaven which is super cool and well known around London!! He and his wife is such a great example of animal lover and as a Latter-day Saints. They showed us around what they're doing and needless to say, I'm enjoying my time there petting the animals and pick up hay(which turn out not a good decision as I get itchy afterward, but hey its not like everyday I get the chance to do that! haha :)

Yesterday, during the Elders Quorum class, we talked about the role of Fathers from Elder Christofferson's remark in General Conference. It was a super sweet discussion. My remarks on it has influenced the Elders Quorum President himself and he told me that it was a very inspirational. As we talk how to discipline our children, many were say that set up a rules will help straight things out and sometime they easily get tick when the kids doesn't listen but there's more to it. I think that Listening is very very vital in that teaching moments as the kids has many curiosity as part of their growing and learning process. They learn from their action and experience for themselves as they made those mistakes. As a father, we play a big role in supporting them. Lend your ear and most importantly let them talk and by doing so, you will be able to see where they at and that point, and that will lead you to understand them very well.

Families and friends, I learn so very much from the experience that I have by far here in my mission. I'm grateful for the plan of salvation as it provide me with great sense of direction in my life. Life itself is very interesting but once you know who you are and what you purpose in life, you will gain greater perspective on what God has in stored for you.

JUNE 21 - RELATIONSHIP

Just plain and simple this week! This week on my mission, I learn a lot about the new meaning of relationship. I learn from experience that relationship takes a lot of patience to build. Times and understanding of the interests of one another play a vital role in it as well. Most part of my mission, I came in contact with many people that I have no idea of who they are but later I come to love them abundantly, usually after we departed. Its a test of separation.. A good test that has help me a lot to develop the sense of urgency of the minimum time that I have and use it to the fullest. There were all cherishable to me, each and every single one of them and if not because of that, I wouldn't be here far in my life. Same goes with my relationship with my Heavenly Father and our Savior, every morning and night when I kneel down in prayer, I'm learn by the end of it about trusting, understanding and patience in my accounting with him.

Have a great week, everyone!
